Business Central Export to Excel has vanished

The “Open in Excel” or “Edit in Excel” option has vanished from the Business Central Menu.

Summary

The “Open in Excel” or “Edit in Excel” option has vanished from the Business Central Menu.

This is due to a new security permission being added to allow users to be blocked from doing this.

What do I need to do?

Add the  "D365 Excel Export Action" Permission Set to your permission set or user groups.
