Use the Copy Item function in Business Central to create new items
How do I do this?
A quick way to create new item records based on existing records is to use the Copy item functionality.
Open the item you want to copy and then from the Menu select
“Actions – Function – Copy Item”
This will then bring up a dialog where you can choose which items fields and links to copy into your new item
Select OK and your new item is created saving you a lot of keyboard time
