Summary
Enhanced Email in Dynamics 365 CRM allows you to compose an email in a pop up window whilst still being able to move around in CRM.
Using the + icon in the timeline (this is in the Unified Interface) and selecting email will then open the email in a pop up window
You can continue to move around in CRM if you need to find information whilst composing the email.
How do I get this?
In the unified interface you need to go to App Settings (bottom of your menu), productivity tools and select the Enhanced email for timeline and turn it on
